Michael Hogan, PE

Michael is a civil and environmental engineer, practiced in demolition and civil site design and specifications for re-development and new construction projects. His design experience includes demolition, site layout, grading and drainage, utilities, tree preservation, erosion and sediment control plans, and environmental permitting for large commercial, single and multi-family residential, industrial, transportation, and government facilities. He also provides construction and demolition management and oversight.

Mr. Hogan’s recent experience in the Knoxville area includes demolition design for the multi-story, multi-structure Lakeshore Park site, the UT Golf Range and Sutherland Apartments and subsequent civil site design to re-develop the site into the UT Intramural Fields Complex, as well as a similar re-development project at West Town Mall in preparation for The Cheesecake Factory restaurant for Simon Properties. UT and Simon Properties both required maintained use and access for these facilities at different stages of the projects which required careful coordination and project planning and phasing. Mr. Hogan is a licensed in Tennessee and Georgia.

Michael is married with two girls. When he’s not rushing to dance recitals or soccer games, he enjoys spending time with his family, extended/large Irish family, and close friends. Once in a while he has an open Saturday morning to sneak out of the house and wade into the Clinch River to fish.
