Steven F. Jerman
Mr. Jerman has over 20 years of combined experience working in public accounting and various service-related industries, from multi-billion dollar corporations to emerging start-ups. He has several years of experience managing the financial and administrative functions of a business. Mr. Jerman’s qualifications include treasury management, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, financial reporting, managing the daily and month-end accounting functions, and mergers & acquisitions.
Mr. Jerman is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions and other lenders, actively managing cash flow for QE² via forecasting and analysis of collections versus disbursements, and evaluating capital expenditure purchases and leasing options. Mr. Jerman is also responsible for the financial reporting for QE², which entails the preparation and review of financial statements for internal management reporting purposes as well as external reporting requirements, and coordinating the annual review of financial statements by external auditors.
Mr. Jerman oversees the development of QE²’s annual operating and capital budgets, performs analysis of actual financial results versus budget and evaluates variance contributors, reviews project-level budgets prepared by managers and professional staff, and develops cost tracking tools and reports within MAS90 accounting system to monitor project performance against budget. He also manages all tasks performed by QE²’s finance/accounting department, including: month-end and year-end close processing; client invoicing, accounts receivable and collections; accounts payable and vendor management; fixed asset tracking, reporting and inventory; employee time and expense tracking and project posting.
